My Biography

Hi, my name is Peter Tremayne. I am a full time internet marketer making a living from information products and affiliate sales.

 
I became involved with internet marketing in 2004 after stumbling across a website advertising a seminar that taught you how to make money from writing an ebook and selling it online.

The person who ran the seminar was a guy called Phil Gosling.
  
Phil was an established, successful infopreneur and it was he who introduced me to the world of information products. With his guidance and mentoring I wrote my first ebook and made my very first dollar online (although it took me 12 months to do!).

That ebook was and still is my pride and joy.

I make around $400-$600 every month with this website and have done so since the middle of 2005.

This one ebook takes very little maintenance and runs virtually 100% on autopilot.

Now $400 per month is nothing to shout about right? But because of what I learned and continue to learn today, I have managed to duplicate my efforts.

I have several mini-sites, in different niche topics, generating the same sort of income, month in - month out.

The process is virtually automated and I have developed a successful system that works for me and enables me to set up a mini site, completely ready to go, selling an ebook within 30 days.

I consider selling information products to be the perfect online business that nearly anyone can be successful in. I also include affiliate sales and back-end, related products with this method.

I don’t propose it is the only way to earn a living online, but in my experience it is the best. I have tried many other methods including PPC advertising, ebay and adsense sites.

About The-Profit-Club

I set up The-Profit-Club to share with you my internet marketing experience and to show you what is working well for me right now and what products and software I use. But I also want you to know what hasn't worked for me.

That way you can avoid some of the costly mistakes I made along the way.

I have bought so many products and joined that many membership sites, but the majority have been very poor (to say the least!).

That’s why I decided to set up The-Profit-Club. I get loads of emails asking me the best way to start or what product I recommend for ‘such and such’.

There is obviously a demand for good quality advice and honest opinions.

I am no guru. I am just someone who makes a fairly decent living online and would like to share my success (and failures) with you.

Every product on this website I will have tried and tested myself and in a lot of cases I am still using them today.

Not all products will receive a glowing testimonial from me. If I review something and I think it’s junk, I will let you know and I will let you know why I think it’s junk.

Look, obviously some of the products I review and recommend, will have my affiliate link attached. But I believe as long as I do a good job reviewing the product and provide you with good information, you won’t mind purchasing the product through my link.

I’m not trying to kid you in any way and I would rather be upfront and honest from the start. I don’t see any problem whatsoever buying through an affiliate link as long as it’s a good, original, honest review.

There are already too many ‘copy and paste’ reviews that just get sent out in hundreds of different emails. You’ve know doubt received hundreds already yourself.

Frankly they really annoy me and I go out of my way not to purchase the product if I think the person who recommended it to me, hasn’t even purchased it or tested it themselves.

It’s disrespectful to me and they don’t deserve me on their list let alone my money.

I value the people on my list and treat them exactly like I would like to be treated myself. That is my golden rule to sending out emails and one I will never deviate from.  

So that’s a brief overview of my online business biography and where I’m ‘coming from’.
