Review of 72-Hour Product

The other day a fellow subscriber to The-Profit-Club, a guy called Scott Brooks approached me to review his new product.

Now I’ve never heard of Scott and to my knowledge he’s not contacted me before.

My initial thoughts for reviewing his product were slightly negative, only because I am so busy with my other projects right now.

But I haven’t done a product review for this blog for a while now and it’s probably time I included one.

So Here’s my 100% honest review of.. 72-Hour Product:

Title: 72 Hour Product

Sub Title: How To Create Your Own Information Products In 72 Hours Or Less

The Product:

The product is a 47 page electronic book and 9 video lessons, covering all the steps you need to take to create and market your very own information product. From market research to formatting the final product – all within 72hours.

Who Would Benefit From The Product?:

If you are new to internet marketing and want to get up and running in the shortest possible time with your own info product, then this is ideal for you.

Overview:

You get shown every step you need to take in detail and in easy to understand language. Plus you get to watch demonstrations and examples on video at various stages in the process.

There’s really nothing difficult in launching your own information product, but this report insures you leave nothing out and enables you to get it done in the shortest time possible.

Scott pays particular attention to market research and how to choose the best subjects that will be successful for you.

That and ‘keyword research’ is the most critical part of the process when developing a new project such as an ebook, short report etc. Both of these tasks are well covered.

Scott has also found a great free resource to help you analyze your keywords and lets you spy on your competitors keywords too! This was a bit of a find for me and I’ve been using it to good effect these last few days.

The real ‘meat’ of the product is the 2 methods Scott teaches you in order to create your information product quickly.

They are both tried and tested methods and both work very well. If you’re focused and put your mind to it, you really can create your info product in 72hours using one of these techniques.

Features:

I particularly like the fact that the video lessons are integrated into the book. So there’s no downloading 9 individual flash files to your computer, everything is nicely contained in the one product.

It’s a classic ‘step-by-step’ process which I love because it means less thinking and more doing.

Pros:

72 Hour Product is a real procrastination beater! If you’re determined to crank out your own product and want to do it real fast, then Scott will drag you over the finish line in double quick time!

All the information you need is here as well as some great free resources.

Usual 60 day money back guarantee, so you’ve got nothing to lose by giving it a go.

Cons:

Personally I think 72 hours is a little ambitious for creating an information product, especially if it is your first one. But the steps are all laid out for you, so if you only have an hour or so a day to work on your product (as most newbies only have) you still get all the necessary information.

Verdict:

72 Hour Product is a slightly different take on an already established and successful business model.

I’ve always promoted the ‘small report’ model because it’s easy to do and ultimately very profitable – I recently wrote a series of articles on the subject:

Scott teaches a method that is slightly different but equally as profitable and potentially much quicker.

I suggest you set aside a long weekend and go through the whole process from start to finish. By the end of it, you’ll have your very own product ready to sell.

And once you’ve done it, there’s no reason why you can’t simply rinse and repeat for your next info product.

Overall I am extremely impressed with Scott’s product. It’s well written, easy to follow, the accompanying videos are first class and it grabs you be the scruff of the neck form the off!

If you are new or have not yet created your own information product and want to do so in double quick time, I highly recommend 72-Hour Product:
